Faith & Therapy

A blogger from the New York Times recently published an article explaining why faith (i.e., belief in God) may have a positive effect on therapy. One potential reason, according to researchers, is that if they have faith in God, they will have faith in treatment; such people are able to transfer–in a sense–their faith, the ability to believe in things that cannot be seen. The study was initially published in the Journal of Affective Disorders.
