Many people don’t realize that they struggle with anxiety, but instead call it workaholism, perfectionism, or something of the sort. They appear calm and together on the outside but on the inside, their thoughts are negative, sometimes obsessively whirling through their minds.
This video from Huffington Post is a few months old, but still applicable and helpful for naming anxiety for what it is. Being anxious doesn’t necessarily mean that you hide in your room and can’t talk to other people; for some, it is (mostly) only internally debilitating.
