Many introverts spend a good chunk of their lives wondering what’s wrong with them and wishing they could be more extroverted. Extroverts also spend a good chunk of their time wondering what’s wrong with introverts and trying to figure out why introverts can’t be more like them!
There have been a lot of studies done on introversion vs. extroversion, but the most basic way I can think to explain the difference is this: extroverts recharge by being around other people while introverts recharge by being alone. Nothing is wrong with either personality preference. Most people fall somewhere in between the extremes on the spectrum.
